I didn't really see this at all until I posted this picture. Not sure why I point out things I see that are wrong on my own car. Everything to the rear of the wheel fits perfectly. Where the quarter meets the door jam, it was about 1/8" off but this particular spot is 1/4" off.

I doubt anyone will see it when they pass me, but I just noticed it...

Now we’re taliking!
Yes, I looked up taliking... :cautious:

I'm using 180 grit on a DA sander and it knocks off the e-coat very well but does not scratch too deep. I had been using 80 grit but it's too abrasive. As soon as I get the e-coat off the doors and fenders, I'll paint them and the quarter. I wouldn't want anyone to think I was building a police car... ;)

Sorry, long day of home renovation in the mountains followed by Yuengling therapy. Fingers fattened, what can I say. At the risk of further grammatical ridicule, what color were you painting it?
I seriously thought it was a word I had never heard of (not too hard to do by the way). This is still white epoxy primer. Once i get it all in epoxy, I will do the "bondo" work. Now mind you, that is not a strong suit of mine, but this car doesn't have to be perfect. I'm going to hit the high spots and let the hair go with the hide...

Once finished with the high build and the sealing coat, this once is going back to its original SS Springtime Yellow...somewhere along the way, it will get a white 4 on a black circle as well...

@Russstang , yes, blackening out the hood (maybe not the fender tops) and now I'm thinking about leaving it in metal finish so I'm the only one that can see on a sunny day. It gives me a chance...
