So last night I am welding my passengers floor pan in, and there have been some slight fitment issues with it overall, so I am having to "massage" (beat with hammer) certain areas and bends to make it fit correctly. Well after welding around most of it, I still had an area that needed a bit better fit before I could tack it in and finish, but now I only have access to one side of the panel, so no dolly to help level the two. Instead, like a genius, I used my other hand, only it is slower than the one with the hammer it seems. I smashed my middle finger so good it shot blood out of both sides and is now swollen up pretty good this morning. This I think is about the worst thing I have done yet, a few burns welding, and some scrapes and cuts dealing with the sheet metal.
Makes me wonder what's the worst you've had happen while working on your cars?
