1969 or 1970 Ford Mustang Fastback Complete Roof Assembly | eBay
He seems to be about right on price, since there are a lot of small parts that the auction above does not have, the fastback unique brackets welded to the lower body.
Is the ad deceitful: No
Is it listed as just parts: Yes
Is there a demand for fastback roofs for conversion: Yes
Is he trying to sell a VIN for evil purposes? No
So other than just not liking ???? what is the beef with the ad?
Maybe it is high, but that is what negotiations are for.
At the Pate Swap Meet 2 weeks ago, there were thousands of vendors selling stuff. There were probably over 200 spaces that had some sort of Mustang parts. I bought a lot of stuff out there, and also did NOT buy a lot of stuff. One person had a plain jane 1965 1966 Mustang headlight bucket, used, $500. It was the only Mustang part he had, so he will carry it a long time, but that is his choice. Another person has had a 1966 instrument cluster for $200. I have seen it at a minimum of 5 swap meets, again, the only Mustang part he has. If he wants to carry it for 20 years, it is his choice.
I would not post about them though, as they are not deceitful or dishonest, just a different opinion of price.
